[smilie=2: I pulled my wheels! :giggedy: I haven't mentioned this but feel the need to now for some reason. A few weeks ago I took the Dart out. It was a crisp morning about 45*. I went out to the highway to Guitar Center. Leaving I grannied out the driveway onto a major 5 lane highway and NAILED her.
She bit hard as I was driving around with about 20psi in the tires. The nose came up fast and hard more so than I can remember in the past and I was thinking this as I turned the wheel to center in my lane as I was heading into the lane next to me. To my surprise the car would not respond to the corrective steering. I let off the throttle and hit second gear, the nose came down some and she steered as expected. I let out a WHHOOOHOOOOO! and nailed her again. My explaination,

Thats my story and I'm sticking to it!

Good show glad the troopers were on coffee break, gonna need you to get a decent 13 sec run outta mine when shes ready, I might get it into the 14's if you don't count the 4 sec's I sit at the light :doh: Rich.

Rusty, I would soooo whoop your ass. I would be at the light at least 5 seconds til someone yelled and I went. :D
 
WooHoo, puling the wheels on a Bergen County road is always a treat ( if you have the room around you to do it. Congrats!!

That is actually one of the main build goals for my R/T/A. I've always wanted to have a car that could do that at will, whenever, wherever. That's gotta be one hell of a rush!
 
I can see it now, XL vs Rusty at the line, stage up, lights delay 30 secs & Rusty falls asleep(it is about nap time ya know) & XL nods out on meds! yellow yellow yellow .........GREEN ............................ GREEN................. fog horn goes off :huh: track officials with the amonia caps bangin on the windows [smilie=f: XL rouses first but can't focus, Rusty follows, invigerated by his power nap, finally notices the push vehicles comming up fast from the rear & takes off, Xl with a little bump from the tow truck soon follows, the street tires wouldn't hook up so XL is gaining fast , Rusty finally gets some traction & is startin to haul ass(must be doin at least 35 by 1/2 track):doh: as we pull through the lights it's neck & neck, crapola, it's a dead heat, as we pull back to the staging area we are turned away, the fans after their boredom induced nap block us off & refuse to move till we park the cars for the day!:wtf:
BTW did I mention XL was driving the 49!:bwuhaha:
The good news is neither one of us red lighted!:toot: Rich.
