IM BAAACK, @ I have some new rides I scored! pics

LAWFISH

"A MOPAR FOR EVERY MOOD"
OK, fisrt I have not been around much because for some reason I had a lot of trouble loading this site as well as mopar style on my computer when using dialup. I had earthlink for years and finally just got directway. Everythig load now without refreshing 10 times!!:giggedy:

So that being said I have recently found a couple of new ridesfirst, I bought a 64 Fury plaing jane a while ago that I picked up for $500.00 out of Sacramento. It had a C body rear end in it, so I need to locate a 65 or up B body rear end.

This one is going to be Viler silver with a darker gray upper roof line in metallic as well. It was a push button 318 but I have a runing 440 sitting here (nothing special) and a 4 speed. Just bought a old hump for $40.00 on ebay, as I refuse to pay the huge money for a nice new one, (around 200 with shipping).

I figure I can do this one odd as I have a 64 383 Sport fury that I am doing original with its console shift auto and a pumped out 383. I have to change the color though and dont know which to use.

Then I discovered this cool odd car, a 62 POLORA 500 2 DR. 318 OR 361 CAR, BUT wont be when I am done. Original darker red and will be done just like the pics of the finished one in the pics below.

Hope everyone has been good and I will be around more often if that ok. I have heard some folks knock this satellite braodband, but I love it and its all that is available out here besides dial up.

I alos decided to sell the 70 cuda vert so I can buy more 62-65 era cars! and a shop in Idaho!

enjoy the pics.

My parents bought a 62 dart 330 wagon brand new. 318 poly with a typewriter torqueflite. Drove it most of my senior year in high school.
butt ugly, but a good car.

That '62 is a love/hate thing. I have both feelings towards it. That dash and rear view is so cool though.

'64 Sport Fury.

*drools uncontrollably*

The 62 is cool, but that 64 is the cat's meow.

The 64 Sport furys are my favorite as well, but the 62 is starting to catch my eye more and more. I started as an E body (although I did not know it was called that) in 1978 when I bought my 72 Cuda, now that there is so much rant over them, i am loosing my lust for them.

I like this oddball 62, its got some great if not creapy lines and you simply do not see them very often, especially a Polara 500 a real one.

My '64 Savoy 2 door post max-wedge clone was FUN! Demolished many a slick with that car!

i must admit i prefer the darts body but could live with either

that console in the second pic...are they hard tocome by?.......with my brain that would work well in the lloyd

I dont believe there is any difference between the dart body and Polora. IN FACT i BELIEVE ITS CALLED A dart polara 500. Darts in 62 were B bodies.
