I have a buddy who moved a couple of years ago. He left behind a 67 Dart convertible and a 70 Barracuda. he called me today and said, "you want a free 67 dart convertible?"
Of course I said yes. They are parked at his mother's house and she wants them both gone.
Here is the catch. He started cutting this car(somehow) to make it a tilt front end[smilie=2: years ago. I have seen the car according to him 10 years ago but dont remember it, so it may be junk!!!. So this could be a total nightmare, but FREE IF FREE:dance: . So I am hoping to stop by tomorrow and see it and take a few pics of it and the barracuda, which I am trying to buy if its not too expensive.
How bad can it be if it was being made into a tilt front end??????. I didnt ask a lot of questions I should have asked. It has a title as does the 70 Barracuda, which is a 318, console shift. Needs lower quarters on it.
Cant wait to see it and hope to bring it home friday afternoon.
Now, you will all have to tune in and wait and see my score, which may end up being a bunch of parts as he stated it was "ALL APART">>>>>>>>.

OK, SO I checked it out today and here it is. Its not a 67, its a 66. I thought it was too good to be truc but I am happy in any case. ITS FREE, cant argue with that it has a tilt front end and its an original 4 speed car thats now missing its dash and motor and trans. I ahve a nice running 318 and even have a non running 273 commando motor.
So, whats ya think- would you build it like it is and save $$$$, keep the tilt, or find parts. or what color, ect, ect, ect. Will a late mod A body 4 speed work, or are these different?
Dave
enjoy the pics. It has a 440 sitting in the engine bay right now, not bolted in, just sitting.
