XLR8R told me to start a new thread and let everyone know what has been happening with my life (if you want to call it a life):shifty:

Long of the short is...........................

My wife got real sick back in January last year and that severely limited my time on the computer for several months. My boss made my life a living hell during her lengthy stay in the hospital. Unfortunately, since my wife was racking up some serious hospital bills, I couldn't tell my boss to shove it as I needed the insurance.

In June of last year, my wife got a clean bill of health and was able to return to work.

Sooooo I walked into work the following morning and told my boss to kiss my ass and left my job of 9 years to start my own business. I have been in the pharmaceutical R&D business for 15 years and decided I wanted to run my own lab. So now after busting my ass for the last 10 months..... the business is finally taking off and I'm finally getting some free time and peace.

Good to see some familiar faces around here.
 
Damn that really started to suck[smilie=2: I'm glad it turned around and I hope all goes well :2thumbs: I love telling the boss to kiss my ass :giggedy:

I once almost went to jail for "running my own lab"....apparently they frown upon it. :(
I am glad all is well......or at least better. :)
Hope you will be around more now, right?

Awesome to hear that you are plugging away at something you can call your own and not have to worry about too many other bosses

I will be around more. I'm still very busy with the business and other stuff, but I have come to realize that I still need some sort of outlet (relaxation).

Way to go Wing!, taking care of the home front first is always game 1 in life, Glads to hear the Mrs. is doing good and can't wait for your special brand of humor to surface again:cool:
