Hi Guys,
Well, due to circumstances beyond my control, namely a broke fan on my old CPU, I had to leave the site behind. Now that I am set on my folks Computer I can now rejoin. If you dont know, I WAS MoPar Jamie. Unfortuantely, my login info got lost on the other machine, as did my E-mail, so I re-registered. Now that that hogwash is over, lets get onto some updates:
Still single, 22, still working in that plant (been in several diff positions though!). Still painfully obsessed with Mopars (who isnt?). I've had up to 33 or 34 cars this year, now down to 30.
I've finally been able to partially focus on one project enough to actually get it together! Well, its apart now, but in putting it together, I took an '80 Stepside single light truck, with a 318/727 (orig. Six/4-spd OD, but that was gone when I got it!) and dropped in a '76-ish 440 out of a '77 LWB (NOT original motor to that one either, it was Slant Six too, imagine that), and it ran a best of 15.42 at MMW in St. Louis. Yeah I hauled it up there with the '89!
Anyway, that one still runs, now I've got the interior gutted, going to do floors and paint soon. Then its onto the exterior. Needs a pair of doors, and I'm probably going to put a birdbath hood on it. Bed isnt bad but it still needs TLC. Before I raced it I put in a Quad-light grille so it looks much better. Painted bumper needs to go!
My other projects include an '80 LeBaron LS that I traded for. Its not too bad body-wise but drivetrain-wise, well, it runs fairly strong but not much else. Trans is shot, rearend is busted, and it has a slight amount of Blowby. I'm going to paint this one black and probably add an '88 roller 318/998 to it. Debating on Steelies/doggies or a more modern wheel.
Also have a '77 Monaco 4-dr that I want to slam a cop suspension under and a 440. Not sure on what theme but its getting Cop underpinnings. Then theres the '70 Fury Gran Coupe that I want to do up in Vit. C orange, kind of a muscle car theme.
OK enough rambling, if you got through it that will be a miracle! Anyhow, I'm back and thats the way its gonna be!
