Mopette here, I want to say hey..... to all, to those of you who are new to this site, ( so am I ) I am (was) Da-ho's future wife, I was asked to be part of his cyber-family, which I proudly accepted. Thank you.... I have some knowledge of mechanicsm, but now that he is gone, I really could use some help, I can do the basic stuff, (like .. change oil, check fluid levels and that sort of thing) , but I could really use some expert advice on a few things.. PLEASE. Did Marc ever talk to anyone here about his 94 Ram 1500? If so could you please enlighten me... Karen:huh:

Don't recall him mentioning that one specifically. We talked a bunch about the supercharger on the Tahoe (Yukon?) that he was messing with. We all are more than willing to lend you a hand with it. Let us know what's going on with it and we'll see what we can do to help.

Great to see you on here Karen. I never heard him talk about the Ram but also heard a few stories of the supercharged Yukon. Whatever is wrong with the truck I am sure one of the mechanical gurus around here is bound to have the answer. [smilie=::

The Denali that he was talking about belonged to a friend . He made a trade with a close friend , that involved Marc trading his fathers 76 GMC 4wdr for this 94 dodge Ram 1500 2-wdr. When he lost his licence (because of child support couple months ago) he signed the truck over to me and told me to licence, insure it , and then told me he was going to teach me how to haul cars...... I think that he wanted to add to his unending supply of parts cars.. He was so proud of his 94 ram, he said that it was the newest nicest rig that he ever owned that he didn't build himself...
All I know is that I have no headlights and I need to be to work at 3:30 in the morning. Until then I can drive my S10...
I woul;d really like to get this taken care of as soon as I can. I LOVE THAT TRUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( I think more tan he did..)

Welcome again mopette. :)

I have seen burnt/failed headlight switches on the Rams on more than one occasion. But first make sure your headlight bulbs are good. I also believe there is a headlight relay under the hood, you can usually "borrow" another nearby relay (make sure it has the same number on it) for testing purposes.

light problem

Thank you for the info.. Marc had another Ram 1500, His friend Curt was here yesterday and took the light switch out of the totaled one and put it in mine and when I woke up this morning my truck was parked in front of the porch, so I tool my keys out and to my joy the light problem was fixed!!!!! All I did was put the keys in and I had LIGHTS and so far the switch works. So now I am waiting for the next thing that " Da-ho" throws at me . All I can say is come on babe give me another one!! I know that he is testing me every day.. That's just the way he was.
Thanks again
Karen
