The Verizon FIOS guys got done hooking me up to fiber optic service last yesterday, WOW! what a difference! My computer works faster; I was expecting that. What was surprising though was that I had Dish Network HD TV service before the fiber, and my HDTV gained as much sharpness again as it did when I switched from the original basic to HD!
Even my computer screen sharpened up noticably. My telephone line, which had been plagued by scratchiness for years, is now crystal clear. My TV now does all kinds of tricks due to an Internet tie-in, although I need a school to learn how to work it all. I LIKE it!
