The new crossmember show up yet?

Will you be able to get the cab on before the cold hits? You could sit in there with an open heater and wire it....bring an extinguisher. ;) Looks great!! Whats with the mother of all bolt on overdrives (??)?

I thought so! But I was thinking that there would be no way it was a 4x4. :D:D So much for thinking. ;) It's a Gm. Who knows. :D

What is it?:shifty:

AWD S-10 regular cab shortbox. The full time transfercase is from a AWD Astro van. Barney built to much power for the 2wd S-10 to ever effectively use (can you say zero traction?:D ) and with this AWD configuration it will be one serious pickup!

Can the transfer case take it? or is that the same setup that was used for the Typhoon / Cyclone trucks?.

We have a couple dozen of those AWD astros and even well maintained they go out every once in a while and thats behind a lame V6 engine.

According to the research he has done on the swap they will hold up, guess he's gonna find out for sure.

Barney could tell ya for sure but I'm thinking it's the same transfer case for all. This set-up has propelled these little trucks well into the nines....
