That's an awesome looking engine! Do you know why INDY cast the two large bosses on top of the intake manifold next to the heads? What purpose do they serve?

First thing I spotted was the airplane and thought "cool, that's different"
Then I saw the bike.

They're bosses for fuel injectors. The radial in the bike is awesome. That reminds me, I need to put up some pics from the Reno Air Races.

Seen three radial engine bikes in the last 4 years or so and that one is by far the best. Love it.
