Dyno Testing the board

Since I can't just leave well enough alone, I've been playing with a little bit of programming to help speed up the site.

Hopefully, the only thing you'll notice is faster page loads.

If you're interested, there's a line at the bottom of every page that tells you how much the page was compressed.

It looks something like this:
[Output: 48.42 Kb. compressed to 45.37 Kb. by saving 3.05 Kb. (6.30%)]

It should help out the dial-up users as well.

From what I can see, the one bug that everyone seemed to be worried about does not affect us here in the nuthouse. Let me know if you see any spaces or empty lines disappear from your posts.

Other than that, it should just be faster.​

after

If they disappeared after I hit submit, or go back and edit the post, then we'd have a problem. But THAT is the only expected problem. Minor I think for what we do here.
