Has anyone had or currently own a Dodge Durango with 4wd and any V8?

Just wondering how reliable they are; the ones that my friends have owned haven't been so good.

My friend's dad has one and its already on its 3rd rear window.

They suck gas and weigh too much for a mid- sized. Almost 6000 lbs. My old 94 5.2 is faster than a 4x4 hemi version, dont ask how I know this.

We have a 2000 SLT 4X4 with the 4.7 and have been very happy with it. Only problems so far was upper balljoints which have been replaced by Dodge on recall. Also the LR power door lock is noisy and needs replacing. Other than that the 4.7 runs nice and it's comfy for long trips and fuel mileage is so-so, but much better than my Rammys 5.9 guzzler. ;)

Not to mention the first generation Durango looks wayyyy sexier than a Denali...:toot:

Beep. You are certainly right about the Durango. Much sexier.

The Denali looks like somethin like a bad brownie.

Denalis suck the big one. At least the one Ive been thrashing on does. Dual ECMs are a PITA! Durwhangos on the other hand at least have the correct manufacturer.:naughty:

AHEM! I can heeeear you![smilie=l:

AND NO...NONE of you had them. Ever. Dammit. And Beep, it may be sexier, but I can put 7 people in mine, AND their stuff. :giggedy: Whereas if lebaron gets one, their will only be his stuff on the backseat.:xl:
Oh, and you all munch ass. :bwuhaha:

Well you do know that Durango is Swahili for 'The young one with the purdy mouth' don't ya Albert?:wtf: So if I were you I'd run and [smilie=f: quickly before Xl starts to ...[smilie=d: well you'll figure it out :toot: :shifty:

dude, my aunt and uncle have an 02 durango in blue w/ 4wd and v8. they say it sucks on gas, but i don't know about reliability. ill ask them this sunday.[smilie=::
