In the midst of the yard scored I made a deal on an '88 D-100 SWB. Its a pretty decent truck really. V-6, 5 speed and not much else. Virtually no options in this thing. Heck I think the radio was an AM one as the Truck has a Mopar logo'd AM/FM/Cassette with knob tuning. No air, manual windows and locks, does have PS and PB though, but I think those were standard.
Since they couldnt find a smaller 5 speed they put in the bigger V8 one. Works really well, it will even chirp the tire with an engine in the bed! I was really suprised as to how well the 3.9 runs out.
Overall the Truck is in pretty good shape. Has a little rust bubbling in the drivers door, and in one of the wheel arches. Interior is also pretty nice. Its Black on red with some funky tape stripes above the lower trim.
I'm planning on adding air to the Truck along with my 16 inch sheels and tires that were on my '89 originally, and maybe levelling the rearend out but otherwise I'm going to drive it! Should do pretty good on gas, guy said 22-25 I think on the highway. It has OD so its possible.
Anyway I'll try to get pics tomorrow if it dont rain.
