Crap. Body shop lost a couple things...help??

So, some of you may know the 70 sport satellite has been in being stripped and redone...its been a hellaciously slow project. Anyway, almost done, they go to spray the front valance between the grill and the front bumper and its missing...cripes, I didn't even notice one!! anyway, its goooone. so is the latch on my hood.....the simple hook part. Does anyone have either of these?

Lower radiator stone shield for 1970 Road Runner models.

This reproduction stamped-steel lower stone shield fits between the front bumper and radiator core support. It comes in a black EDP-coating.

 
I would think they must be talking about the piece in the green rectangle I outlined. If that's the case, you'll likely need a new lower grille as well.

Of course, if they lost it, I assume they're paying for the new part(s). I don't think the safety catch changed between 1968-'70; that should be easy enough to find.

I think 71's got it right. The metal piece between the front fenders across the front of the car. There is also anothe piece, that the hood latch bolts to, and hood catch/latch onto. This piece is above the grille and goes from fender to fender as well.

I've been looking around for a repro piece...but can't find one. Found them for 68-69 B-body only.

Crap. Pierre, I couldn't see your pic.....so we are assuming it is the ovally shaped piece? Is that the "$149" part? thats not toooo bad. yes, they ARE paying, no questions. the latch bit from the hood...anyone got a spare? David? did that spare hood have one?

My pic was of the piece below the grille, in which the lower grille is framed above the bumper and between the fenders.

I wonder why you can't see it... I uploaded it straight off my hard drive.

I'm not sure.
I can check next time I'm out at the trailer. Which MAY be this week if I get my snows swapped on to the daily driver.

If it's there, it's yours.
