Clear Your Cookies!!!

If you're having issues with new posts not showing up, clear your cookies.

You can do this by one of two methods - you can do both to be sure if ya want...

1. logout of moparnuts using the Log Out link in the menu.
After clicking that and clciking on the confirmation, you should see a message that says "All cookies cleared"

OR

2. use your browser software to delete all cookies on your computer - BUT ONLY IF YOU ARE SURE YOU WANT TO DO THAT - it will clear out any other cookies from other sites as well. As an alternative, you could get all fancy like and use a cookie cleaner software that will let you selectively delete only those cookies that you want to delete. Google up cookie cleaner and you should have some good options. I use Empty Temp Folders, but it works kind of backwards - you point out the cookies you want to keep and then click wipe. It then deletes everything else....

I have cc cleaner and it does registry and all. Im so clean now I dont need to take a shower even. Things are still screwy but better. Isnt it nice when we change things and big dummies like me try to crap in the corner and there aint one?:dgt:

One more thing to try that should help with threads being marked READ.

There's a link down near the bottom of the main page that says "Mark Forums Read" Click that and it will catch you up with all of the forums. That seems to reset things to the point where going forward all should be good.

One other thing that I've noticed with regards to cookies....

If you are repeatedly asked to log-in after closing your browser or after a period of inactivity, you must remember to check the "Remember Me" box when you are logging in.
