 Well I went and paid the taxes on the house today 2,822.+ And ran some chores. I found myself at Farm + Fleet in the toy section looking for a radio controlled spider "taratula" Well they were gone so i started to wander "which is easy to do there." :giggedy: Since I blew 2800+ today I figure whats another 299.00. so I came home with a nice small hobart oxy/acetlyne torch set. It came with the tanks and a plastic carrying case/stand. I have been going to get a torch for a while now, but have not found the right deal.
The auctions I have been too have sold them for over $400 bucks for a used one and I don,t want to rent the tanks. It's not a smithy, but it will cut up to 4 inches with a different tip. it comes with a cutting tip for 1/2 inch and 1/8 inch welding tip. It,s light enough to carry which will be handy for me. So no more heating up stuck bolts and such with the propane torch which takes FOREVER.

Did you also buy a few extra fire extinguishers while there torchboy? :D

A torch certainly comes in handy, good score.

Cool! I just bought a similar unit too! It is convenient that I can carry it with me to light up those nasty old homes full of squaters. People smell like pork. :shifty:

Great... XL has a new firestarter. :D

On another note, my house taxes are $465... so, working on percentages, I guess I can go buy myself something that costs, oh, $49.27. :D

$465 I wish :( Stupid Taxes. Beeper I have fire extingushers but don,t need them. I have a Moog who grabs said burning object, throws it on the ground and stomps on it.[smilie=d: My poor air cleaner element:(.

:bwuhaha:yup XL smiles at my torches- there is 75 feet of hose to use. he really does smile. and i dont have fire ex. but i do have insurance.... homeless shacks ? never thot of that. is it fun?:bwuhaha:

if i told you what i pay - you would have the attack.....they tax the tax out of the tax.... council is so tight here we have a volenteer fire dept. when a fire hits they let you know if there coming. they in the past have used wooden fire ladders on burning houses. the water truck used to leak so bad that when they rolled it over and it stopped cause the spout was now on top. it took the 4 ours to figure out how to turn the hose on -- at the truck..they havent lost a basement yet. the last fire they had everyone showed up with music- they thot it was the annual BBQ. and 1 good thing about the volenteer fire dept. is that they hired 2 columbians and put them up in a apartment over top the firehall. - i guess it for phone reasons.. and they are getting paid.. so that went thru. their name are HOSEA and HOSEB-- AND THEY WANT MORE MONEY.....:toot:

At first I was afraid to click on this. I still remember the last time you tried to show me your so called “Blue tipped tool” when we were alone in the chat room. * Shudders*

Don’t forget to grab some bees wax to keep near those torches. It is awesome for braking stubborn rusty bolts loose. Apply a small amount of heat to the rusted fastener ,touch the bees wax to it then loosen said fastener.

Oh and my taxes ….$600.00 a year
