Just wondering if anyone else here gets/reads Autoweek magazine? (http://autoweek.com/)
It's a weekly magazine that features the latest goings-on in the car biz; new car shows, latest production info, also has retro articles, etc... It's a great read while your wife is sitting there looking at "People" magazine. Also has some of the coolest classified ads you'll ever see.
I remember in the early-mid 70's there was an ad in the back of Autoweek that ran for YEARS... "1969 Dodge Daytona, NEW, never titled, $10,000".
I used to shake my head and laugh, telling my Dad "That's STUPID" ... "It will NEVER sell for that price!" In 1977 while driving by a Dodge dealer in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, I SAW that car sitting out front and stopped by to take a look at it. Yup, a brand new 8-year-old car. 10 Grand. Nuts!...
