1962 Dodge Lancer 270 2dr. Coupe (post).
38K - 170 /6, Push Button 904, Standard Steering and Brakes Car.
Parked since ‘79, in PA. Comes with PA Title.
Purchased after an 8 month search, as a Slant/6 Shootout Project.
Modifications begun:
1. Trunk area reworked to flat floor.
2. New NHRA & IHRA Fuel Cell and support installed.
3. Holley Blue Pump installed.
4. Fram Drag fuel filter installed.
5. Plumbed for 3/8” fuel lines.
6. Interior removed (seats, headliner, rugs).
7. Comes with pair of Very Nice (early non Hi-Back) “B” series Dodge Van seats.
8. B-Body 8 ¾” rear axle assy. reworked & installed to A-Body specs. Pads moved in ½” both sides. Allows 10” & 12” rims with 5” & 6” offset, in stock wheel well.
9. Richman 4.30 - W/Mopar Spool in #489 case. Small yoke. Green axle brgs.
10. New Cal-Trax, with matched rear leaf springs. Comp. Engr. adjustable rear shocks.
11. New 27.5 X 12 X 15 slicks on Weld Pro-Stars
12. All exterior trim, glass, window and door latch mechanisms in good condition.
13. Straight body and chassis, T/Bar - X member and torque boxes intact and look great. Minimal rust 44 year old car. NO SALT ROT. NO BONDO.
14. Front and rear bumpers straight and intact.
15 ’62 Grill replaced with Complete ‘61 Grille. Looks MUCH better.
16. Large bolt pattern 11” X 2 1/2” new rear brakes.
17. Large bolt pattern new front disc brakes (M-Body).
18. Tubular upper A-Arms. All new ball joints. New Frt. Gas shocks.
19. 2" X 2" X .125” frame ties - included but not installed.
20. DOT equipment (wipers, heater & defrost, lights) intact and working.
21. New Comp Gages and shift light tach.
22. Newer 70's Cable Accl Pedal assy upgrade.
23. Newer 70's Steering Wheel assy upgrade
