The 1973 model year saw further refinement to the sheet-metal on the B-body series. The second generation, aerodynamic shape had proven especially advantageous on the NASCAR circuit. Richard Petty won the Winston Cup in 1971 and 1972 driving a RoadRunner based Plymouth.
Our 1973 Plymouth RoadRunner is powered by the terrific 340/4 barrel engine producing 240 net horsepower. Power is transmitted through the legendary TorqueFlite automatic transmission. The 340 breathes through dual exhausts with chrome tips. Optional front disc brakes enhance stopping power.
The Deluxe, Honey Gold interior features a console and front bucket seats in addition to the Interior décor Group trim package. A Music Master AM radio supplies the tunes.
The Honey Gold exterior features include original hood tie down pins, Bumblebee stripe package with optional transverse hood stripes/callouts all in contrasting white. Raised letter BFG radial tires on original road wheels look great and improve handling.
Our 1973 RoadRunner is a 77,000 mile vehicle that runs and drives wonderfully. Included with the vehicle are the original owners’ manual and a copy of the original window sticker.
