1965 Valiant V200 screaming deal?

Apparently this guy's a motivated seller, what-fer he lives up 'Laska way these days. The engine alone--a 408 stroker which has never been started--is worth the asking price. Yes, the quarters are beat but even so... I'd have bought it already if I had a place for it, or a home for the engine.

Never mind... already gone.

Engine was a 360-based stroker, steel crank, H-beam Eagle rods, hypereujunctic pistons, total Edelbrock top end, TTi headers, 750 Holley, Milodon pan, etc. Tons of money in that engine. Car was a rust-free Nevada/California car that had been hit in the RH rear and the LH rear pushed into something. It still looked like a relatively-easy fix, to be honest (other than finding a RH quarter). Big-bolt discs, A904 (weak link, but an A727 came with it), on and on. There was much to like here.
