    What are you working on?

Changing out the wheels/tires on the vette. Not a big fan of the originals. Stock size 17" front 18" rear. Now 18" front 19" rear, also a bit wider on the rear. Nice fat tire on the rear, should help it hook up a tad better.

So I'm getting close to my second year as a business owner and things are going quite well. A lot of things have happened in that time and one of the new things is we now have a website. Please feel free to check it out, look around and kick the tires. Let me know what you think. Sanborn's Tire...

    The drag bike

It's off the lift. Chain guard needs to go on and that's about it. Took a quick shakedown run, nothing fell off and the front wheel isn't nearly as light. 😁 In 2 weeks it's going to the track.

    The drag bike

Hillsboro Drag-Away, opened about 2 years ago. It's a converted airstrip about 40 minutes away. I do plan on a trip to Rock Falls Raceway to see what it will do on the 1/4 mile.

The new header. Much lighter and less restrictive than the stock piece.

    The drag bike

So I bought this Bandit 1200 brand new 22 years ago and it's undergone changes ever since. The usual stuff, better breathing through pod filters and carb jetting, ignition advance, shock and fork upgrades to name a few. Last year I decided to quit riding it on the street, my back road shenanigans...

    Been awhile..

Hello all. Stumbled back in here after a long hiatus, nice to see so many familiar names. So much has been going on with me I don't know where to start! After 25 years wrenching at the same shop I bought the place last June and now I'm my own boss with 2 employees. It's a lot of work but so very...

    What are you working on?

Lately I've been tinkering on my latest acquisition. 03 Hummer I got for towing the Bandit to the dragstrip. This thing is a tank! I'm really enjoying it, price of gas be damned. 😁

She's probably right. :shifty: Picked up this little fella today, 95 KLR 250. It will be my winter ride and buddy bike for those who would like to go dual sportin with me. So once again there are 4 bikes in the garage..and just enough room for me to set up a sleeping spot. :D

    Another N96 in the garage.

As you all know N96 was the factory option code for the Air Grabber hood found on Mopars of old, my RR was one of 'em. Yesterday I brought home another N96 machine but this one came from Germany and only has 2 wheels. :shifty: The 2012 BMW F800GS Trophy Edition is a limited production bike...
