He approved the return, I got my refund, and the part went back. Instead of putting the packing slip inside, I put it on the outside in one of those clear "PACKING SLIP ENCLOSED" pouches on the outside, folded so "Reason for return: DAMAGED IN SHIPPING" is clearly visible to FedEx personnel...

Wouldn't it?! It was in similar shape to what it is now back in '01, and despite being a pink 4-speed car, what really drove me over the edge was that white interior in it--my belief being that it was original along with a white top and tail. Govier did his thing with the car 25 years ago...
